Paige Madison Bueckers (born October 20, 2001) is an American professional basketball player who has been widely regarded as a generational talent since her high school days. She played college basketball for the UConn Huskies, where she made an immediate impact, winning the Naismith College Player of the Year award as a freshman in 2021—the first freshman to do so since 2003. Known for her exceptional court vision, basketball IQ, and ability to score from anywhere on the floor, Bueckers quickly established herself as the face of women's college basketball and one of the most exciting young players in the sport.

Throughout her college career, Bueckers has overcome significant adversity, including a knee injury that sidelined her for part of the 2022-23 season, but she returned stronger than ever, leading UConn to multiple Final Four appearances. Her leadership, poise, and clutch performances have drawn comparisons to some of the greats of the game. Bueckers has also been a standout for the United States national team, winning gold medals at the FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup and the FIBA Women's AmeriCup. With her combination of skill, determination, and charisma, Paige Bueckers is poised to become one of the most influential players of her generation as she prepares to make the transition to the professional ranks.
